Today was interior designing day for the insect homes as I was trying out various materials to furnish the insect homes.

More Tests

A few more test homes, it might now be possible to hang some of these from trees in the park for the festival, just awaiting for the final go ahead.

Latest Insect Home Tests

The photographs below are from some tests I have been doing with simple image transfers of photocopies to plywood, I haven't finished the process as they still need refining and varnishing, but I wanted to see how they would work with the laser cut insect home.

Test Home

This is the first test home using the laser cut state house, it will be set up in the garden to see what takes a fancy to a nice new home.

Open Homes

I put out the three test insect homes today and a few open home signs around the undergrowth to raise awareness amongst the local insect population. I am going away for a few weeks so have left the homes in the care of a property manager, so if any new tenants have issues they can be sorted out. I look forward to seeing if there are any takers.
